Open Heart Surgery on our 10th Gen Si (Camshaft Swap)

Our shop car is undergoing open heart surgery today. We’ve recently been testing our new Setup for 2020 (Motec Systems USA ECU, Garrett – Advancing Motion GTX3076R GEN2, PRL port injection, etc) and quickly realized that Honda’s tiny 1.5L L15B7 is struggling to spool our new turbo (which is currently the largest T25 frame option for our Big Turbo Kit) and make boost up top without using nitrous to simulate a larger displacement engine. Hopefully these camshafts can help us unlock some more power and useful RPM. Just another hurdle in our quest for the most powerful 10th Gen Civic in the world. 💪

    1. Unfortunately we have not really had any updates with this car. We’ve spent the past year or so focusing on expanding our manufacturing capabilities and facility to keep up with the rapid growth, among dealing with COVID related restrictions. Hopefully we are able to focus on this project after the new year.

      1. Really looking for an update/test on the camshafts to see if they are worth it. No other ones available at this time and looking for a set 🙁
